San Rafael Hospital

Javier Ferreira M.D consults for most medical societies and performs his surgeries at the Hospital San Rafael belonging to the Hospitaller Order of St. John of God. The hospital history of the Brothers of St. John of God dates back to 1552, founding the San Rafael Hospital in Pinto, in 1892, as an asylum for children, and passing through different locations in the following years. The current building was instituted in 1969 and renovated in 1997. Since then, the hospital has grown at all levels to become the modern, state-of-the-art center it is today (www.hospitalsanrafael.es). 

The hospital has 172 beds, 17 suite-type rooms, pediatric and adult ICU, 8 operating rooms, surgical day hospital, 24-hour medical-surgical emergencies, MRI, CT, and a wide range of care services with the most accredited professionals.
