Javier Ferreira M.D consults for most medical societies and performs his surgeries at the Hospital San Rafael belonging to the Hospitaller Order of St. John of God. The hospital history of the Brothers of St. John of God dates back to 1552, founding the San Rafael Hospital in Pinto, in 1892, as an asylum for children, and passing through different locations in the following years. The current building was instituted in 1969 and renovated in 1997.
